OUR PROGRAMS
LAX LAB is redefining the standard in lacrosse: a training and development ecosystem built for the families who expect more, and the players who deserve it.
We coach, train, and mentor athletes from our New Jersey base, with a national footprint spanning Connecticut, Philadelphia, and beyond. Seven years in, the Lab has grown into something bigger than any one program. The full ecosystem, all under one roof.

DEVELOP THE PLAYER. GROW THE PERSON.
Lacrosse development is more than learning to pass, catch, and shoot. It’s having coaches who meet your child where they are, a clear foundation to build on, and the confidence to keep trying when the game gets challenging.
Build the fundamentals, understand how they fit into the game, and keep finding ways to improve.
Thoughtful feedback and room to learn help young athletes take on challenges at their own pace.
With Academy’s age-based curriculum, off-field development, and parent guidance, families have more than practice to lean on.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE STANDARD
Jules Heningburg
Jules founded the Lab in 2018. A professional player, four-time All-Star, and ESPN lacrosse analyst, he brings his experience back to the next generation.
In 2024, he teamed up with his brother Dylan to build on that vision. Meet the people and the purpose behind LAX LAB.
About UsFOR FAMILIES
A little guidance goes a long way.
Ask us about your child’s age, experience, and goals.
We work with beginner level players on through our Kindergarten and 1st grade Academy programming, based out of Florham Park, NJ. For players older than that, we require at least 1 year of experience for all programming, with specific programs only available based on your level of play. Tell us about your experience so our team can help you explore a suitable starting point
After you submit an interest form and we learn more about you, our team will follow up with suitable programming options and registration if there is a fit. Completing an interest form does not register your athlete for a session.
One of the core elements you will hear about Lax Lab is how personal our athletes feel, even in a group setting. We divide our groups into smaller groups, and are very intentional about giving our athletes the right support during sessions and over the course of a training season. Private and semi-private coaching offers another way to get more personalized attention. Explore your location to learn more
Yes, we offer guidance for our families and mentorship through our Academy programming, as well as our Pathway Program. Academy is a year round training commitment, while Pathway Program offers individualized mentorship for our families and players.
