THE LAB STANDARD

EVERY REP
HAS A REASON.

Training should do more than fill an hour. Every session combines focused skill work, real competition, and coaching that adapts to the players on the field.

A LAX LAB coach works directly with a young player on stick skills
COACH THE DETAILS. BUILD THE CONFIDENCE.

Coaching that sees your child.

We aim for a 1:10 coach-to-player ratio, breaking sessions into smaller groups for feedback, better flow, and more attention.

Skills that translate to game day.

Position-specific work meets live competitive reps. Players practice the decisions and movements the game actually asks of them.

Challenged. Supported. Still having fun.

High energy and high expectations, with room to make mistakes. Coaches adjust to the group’s age, experience, and needs.

More reps. Coached with purpose.

High-volume practice with intention behind every drill. Quality stays at the center of the work.

PEOPLE BEHIND THE PROGRESS

THEY’VE PLAYED IT.
THEY TEACH IT.

Built by two brothers who know the game from the inside. Carried forward by a staff that shares their standard.

YOUR WAY INTO THE LAB

A CLEAR NEXT STEP.
A BETTER START.

Finding a good fit comes first. Here’s how we get to know your player and help them get started.

  1. Tell us about your player.

Complete the NJ interest form with your child’s experience, goals, and preferred location.

    Start the interest form
  2. We find the right fit.

The team reviews your information and follows up about the appropriate group. Typical response: 48–72 hours, longer during busy enrollment periods.

  3. Register. Then get to work.

Once your player is approved to train, the team sends registration details so you can take the next step.

An interest form starts the conversation. It does not register your child or reserve a place in a session.

A LITTLE CLARITY FOR PARENTS

GOOD QUESTIONS.
STRAIGHT ANSWERS.

Choosing training is a family decision.
We’re here to help you make it.

Ask us a question
Is this right for a player who is just starting?

The Florham Park boys K–2 group is open to all. For an older beginner, share their experience through the interest form. The team can help you explore an appropriate group. LAX LAB Academy also offers a structured starting point for young players.

How are players grouped?

Groups are segmented by age, gender, and skill, with position-specific work where listed. The years on the schedule are high school graduation years. AA is the designation used on the published schedule; ask the team to confirm the appropriate level.

Do you have girls’ training and goalie training?

Florham Park has dedicated girls’ offense and defense sessions led by Emma Muchnick. Wayne, Metuchen, and Jersey Shore list offense, defense, and goalies. Contact the team to confirm gender-specific availability and the right group at each location.

What does training cost?

Weekly training prices are not listed on the current NJ training page. Ask the team for the price and commitment options for your player’s location and group before registering.

Can we join after the season starts?

Submit the interest form and ask about current availability. The team will confirm whether there is a suitable opening and explain the next steps. The form does not reserve a place.

What happens in winter or outside the fall schedule?

The main NJ season runs September through mid-March, with year-round training at some locations. The schedules above are the published fall 2026 sessions. Ask about winter dates and current availability through the NJ interest form.

Can my child get private coaching?

Yes. LAX LAB offers personalized, position-specific private training. Mention private coaching in your inquiry so the team can discuss coaches, facilities, and availability with you.

How is weekly training different from Academy?

Weekly training focuses on group skill development and competition. Academy is a separate, year-round K–8 program with an age-based curriculum, off-field development, and guidance for families, based in Florham Park and surrounding towns.
